MIDTEL Fraud Alert – Voice & Email Phishing Scams

Fellow MIDTEL customers have reported fraudulent Callers trying to trick you into sharing your credit card, debit card or even social security number to commit identity theft.

  • MIDTEL will not call you or email you to provide or verify your Credit Card, Debit Card, ATM PIN or Social Security numbers.
  • MIDTEL will never ‘call you’ or ‘email’ to ask for this information. We do have procedures in place to verify your identity when ‘you call us’. This is for your protection.
  • Do not disclose any personal information (such as credit card numbers, Social Security number, birth date, passwords, account numbers or etc) to an unsolicited source, whether by email, phone, online or mail.
  • Do not click on any links and do not respond to any email that asks for your personal information. Please delete suspicious emails.
